In multiple events related to defence and transport, Emirates announces a US$38 billion deal to buy 65 Boeing 777-9 jets, with deliveries beginning in 2027 at the Dubai Airshow. In a separate development, Ukraine signs an agreement with France to acquire up to 100 Rafale fighter jets, along with air-defense systems, munitions, and drones.
