Electronic Arts (EA) has announced it will be acquired by a consortium led by Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF), Silver Lake, and Affinity Partners in an all-cash deal worth $55 billion—the largest such sponsor-led buyout in history. EA shareholders will receive $210 per share, a 25% premium over its September 25, 2025 closing price. PIF will roll over its 9.9% stake.
